You can adjust your theme settings to your needs and modify your website appearance in the Customization area.

MENUS AND PAGES

Go to Customization → General and Create default pages and menus.

To create product categories, go to ProductsProduct Categories and select categories you want to Edit or create a new one.

To create a subcategory, add its name and select the corresponding parent category. Click Add a New Category.

Once your product categories are created, you can proceed with organizing your website menus. There are 3 of them available in the Dali theme:

  • Main Menu

  • two Footer Menus

To manage them, go to AppearanceMenus and select a menu to make changes to or create a new one. Check items which should be added to your menu in the left-hand sidebar. To make sure you see all groups of items, click Screen Options at the top of the page and check groups you want to add to menu.

Drag items to change their display order and move them to the right to make sub items. You can edit them by clicking the down arrow symbol.

As a rule, website menus are organized as follows:

  • Main Menu consists of product categories

  • Footer Menu (About)  – company info pages

  • Footer Menu (Let us help you) – helpful links

After you have finished editing your menu, check corresponding display location at the bottom of the page in Menu Settings. Click Save Menu.

Alternatively, you can use Manage with Live Preview at the top of the page to see changes on your website front-end as you make them.

CUSTOMIZATION

General

In the General section you can edit some basic configuration settings such as adding default pages (use the Create button), uploading your favicon, enabling product discount badges and the LazyLoad option. Customize your template colors.

Head

You can add and edit scripts and styles in Head.

Header

In the Header tab you can upload two logos for your website: the light one for the transparent version of the header and the dark one for the sticky version of the header.
In the dropdown menus, choose logo position and header behavior.

Home

You can modify the way your homepage looks like: change link (Shop now) and text colors, adjust font size, manage rotation, etc.

Customize the way your banners look like: edit text, adjust colors and links.
You can:

  •  add a link to video uploaded to your Media (Video mp4). Upload a video from your computer to WP Dashboard → Media → Add New

Open the uploaded video and copy its URL.

Go to Customization → Home → choose a banner to edit.

  • add a Vimeo video ID.

Be careful to always upload an image when you add a video to your banner. Videos cannot be played in the background on some mobile devices. So, you might need to replace them with an image.

Please keep in mind that the longer your video is, the slower your website loads.
It is recommended to limit your video length to 20-30 seconds.

Choose how many products you would like to see in each product block on your Homepage (Top deals, New in, Most liked).

Upload an image for your parallax Promo banner, add text and link the banner to any page you want.

If you want to draw your customers' attention to certain products, add them to the Featured Products block. The products added to the Featured Products block are displayed at large scale and stand out on the page. The Featured Products block can also be used to increase sales for the products that are not selling well.
Click the Add Product button to add items. Enable the Rotation option if necessary.

Make your latest two blog articles appear on Homepage by enabling the blog option.
